Digital assets
Buying real estate with crypto? Counsel that knows the ledger.
Digital assets have gone mainstream. The Closing Center™ network is built to close all-cash purchases for buyers who hold them, with a lawyer on every file.
Direct payment, protected by the deed
On qualifying all-cash purchases, buyer and seller can settle the price in crypto directly with each other. The closing firm holds the signed deed and releases it for recording only after the seller confirms receipt.
Documented properly
Verified wallets, written payment confirmations from both sides, and a dollar valuation for the excise tax and the record.
Advice that fits
Guidance on structure, documentation and timing, plus a reminder to bring in your own tax adviser.
Availability depends on the transaction and the state; financed purchases close in U.S. dollars. Affiliate law firms do not receive, hold or disburse digital assets, and closing funds that pass through a firm are handled in U.S. dollars through its attorney trust account. Taxes, recording fees and title premiums are paid in U.S. dollars. Any legal fee paid in a digital asset is subject to a written fee agreement and the applicable Rules of Professional Conduct. Each party should consult its own tax adviser.
